I am a mother of three little ones who just love sensory play, music and dancing. While looking for exciting things to do with my own children (two year old twins and a four year old), I struggled to find something in Wicklow which engaged children of all ages. I found Moo Music online and haven’t looked back since! My background is in education with over eighteen years’ teaching experience. My kids and I enjoy singing some of Moo Music’s 125 songs every day.
What to expect at Moo
Moo Music is a great fun and interactive regular music session for 0 to 5 year old children and their parents, grandparents or carers too, where the children sing, dance and play. Music is an essential part of every child’s development and the 125 original Moo Music songs used at the sessions are positive, uplifting, fun and educational. The interactive sessions will help your child gain confidence and develop memory, language and coordination skills in an exciting, enjoyable and multi-sensory way. It’s a great way to make new friends – both for the children and the adults too!
We also run messy play sessions in Kilcoole. There are huge benefits to messy play, it aids physical development, fine motor skills, hand-eye co-ordination and supports language development; all of which help your little one to learn and grow in confidence. Research has shown that messy play is one of the best ways to nurture and enrich a child’s formative learning. Come along, make a mess, have lots of moosical fun and we will clean up after you!
We offer a number of different classes to suit you and your little one: Baby Moo is for babies and pre-walkers. We love to play with bubbles, scarfs, do peek-a-boo, tickle games, movement through action songs, exploring textures and of course, our lovely sensory canopies. Mini Moo is aimed at our more active toddlers up until they are ready for school. This is a lively session with lots of movement and dance, fun props and storytelling through play. Mixed Moo is suitable for ages 0-5 and perfect for siblings or friends of different ages who wish to come along together. Coming to Moo Music is also a great way to make new friends – both for children and adults alike!
Where can I do Moo Music with Wendy? We run sessions in Bray, Newtown, Kilcoole and Rathnew every week. We also run classes in local preschools, libraries and childcare centres. We run messy play classes in Kilcoole every Saturday morning. Spaces are limited and must be booked online.
